Hi, I’m Nicci!

Starting my blog has been something I have been both excited and terrified about! I’ve had countless ideas and inspiration along with second-guessing and allowing my insecurities to reign. Well, finally, I am jumping in - ready or not! I tend to be the type to jump in with both feet and figure it out as I go. Several times in the past year I have heard the phrase “done is better than perfect”. I have decided to adopt this as my motto for the year. No more waiting for everything to be perfect - time to get things done!

Why start a blog in 2023? Isn’t that something you did back in the early 2000s?! My hope and desire for this blog is to connect, highlight, and resource my clients. There are so many wonderful photographers out there; you want to be sure that whoever you’re choosing to capture the most important moments of your life is someone you trust, someone you connect with, someone you like! This is the place where you can have a peek into my life; you can get to know me, my heart for creating an amazing experience for my clients, and my passion for capturing gorgeous images that will be cherished for a lifetime. After each wedding or session, I will highlight and share some of my favorite moments and images. One of my favorite aspects of being a professional photographer is getting to meet new people and hear their stories. I have been so privileged to even become friends with past clients! Lastly, I want to have a place to share tips, inspirations, and resources with my clients. Hiring a professional photographer is an investment meant to last a lifetime. I want to ensure that you’re equipped and confident when it comes to preparing for your session, making plans for your wedding, and even how you can take better photos of your own family.
